It’s not that I don’t enjoy the winter, but I do not love what it does to my skin. From my dull complexion to the dryness, I always find myself hiding in the house until spring. However, since I have so much time on my hands due to Miss.Rona, I’ve found some great tips to keeping your skin nice and glowy during the winter months. Scroll on down to learn more!
If you haven’t noticed already, the winter can dry your skin out completely. Stick to moisturizers and oils that contain Jojoba oil. It is known for sealing your skin with a protective barrier moisture. So, make sure you lather up in this to keep your skin nice and moisturized.
Try This: CBD Zen Balm
I was pretty shocked when I saw this, too. Apparently, jumping in a hot shower during the winter isn’t ideal. It actually dries your skin out even more and strips the natural moisture. It’s best to either take lukewarm showers or a high quality salt bath. Salt baths promote healthy and youthful skin, and balance the moisture levels of your skin. If you have super dry skin that gets extremely itchy in the winter, salt baths are a must.
This is a no brainer, but make sure you apply body oil during the winter to keep your skin glowing and moisturized. The best time to apply your oil is to damp skin right after your bath or shower. Try looking for oils that contain Squalane. It hydrates and locks in essential moisture and helps reduce signs of aging and skin irritation (bonus)
Products that contain hyaluronic acid help the skin retain moisture. Treat yourself to a mask that boosts hydration. Our Hydrodel and hyaluronic sleeping masks will help lock in moisture, improve texture, and protect your skin from the harsh winter temperatures.
